DONOR-ADVISED FUNDS

The Foundation's Donor-Advised Funds (DAFs) are popular charitable giving funds that allow donors to make tax-deductible contributions, receive an immediate tax benefit, and then recommend grants from the fund to the charitable organizations of their choice over time. Donors may establish a Donor-Advised Fund with a gift or pledge of $5,000 or more over a five-year period using a simple Gift Instrument that sets forth the terms of the fund.  Donor-Advised Funds are separately accounted for within the Foundation. The PDNCF provides annual accounting of the fund to the donor.  There are many benefits of Donor-Advised Funds including tax-deductibility of gifts, investment support, administrative support, donor recognition, low overhead and support fees, high transparency and accountability. It's like having your own foundation.

The Foundation is proud to partner with the following donors with Donor-Advised Funds.

  • Sharon Butterworth Fund for Behavioral Health
  • Myrna & Ray Deckert Charitable Fund
  • Maureen Henry Scholarship Fund for Health Sciences
