Welcome Allison Glass

The Charitable Foundation is pleased to welcome Allison Glass to its Board of Directors. Allison is a Senior Manager on the Global Communications team at Under Armour. Upon graduating from Texas Christian University in 2006, Allison launched her Communications career in Ruder Finn's Global Issues practice in New York, specializing in media relations for nonprofits. For the next few years she managed cause-advocacy campaigns such as Liz Claiborne's Love is Not Abuse program and Robert Wood Johnson's Start Strong Initiative. Along with the nonprofit sector, Allison also supported the growing green energy practice, assisting with ACCIONA Energy North America's launch of Nevada Solar One (NSO), the third largest solar power plant in the world.

Allison returned to Texas and worked for INK Public Relations, focusing on strategy development, media outreach, and client management. Working for start-ups led Allison to MapMyFitness in 2012 where she took on a role as in-house public relations and social media manager. It was here she single handedly grew the company's social presence two-fold and generated increased media awareness, leading to an acquisition by Under Armour Inc. in 2013 for $150 million.

Now living full time in El Paso, she is part of the entrepeneurship group Progress321 and is a graduate of Leadership El Paso (Class 38). She is married to Lane Gaddy and they have one son, welcomed in December 2016.
